About the Division:

This opportunity is with Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) — a specialized investing group under the Asset & Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs. MAS manages diversified portfolios for institutional clients such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance firms, and provides outsourced CIO services.

This role is centered around building a portfolio construction and order generation platform, involving multiple asset classes like equities, fixed income, currencies, alternatives, and instruments like ETFs, futures, options, swaps, and more.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate directly with MAS investment professionals to build and enhance an order generation platform.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle—design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy.
• Develop modern web applications and RESTful services using cutting-edge tech.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend, working across the entire tech stack.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and business users.
• Work closely with other global engineering teams to ensure system integration and consistency.
• Take full ownership of features and systems—designing and implementing scalable, secure, and performant code.

Key Technical Skills:

Node.js, Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS, RESTful APIs, Sybase, SingleStore, MongoDB, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience in full-stack development with strong command over frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (Sybase, SingleStore) or NoSQL systems like MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—especially with investment professionals and global teams.
• Self-motivated, commercially focused, and adaptable to rapid changes in the business and tech environment.
• A strong team player with a high sense of ownership and urgency.
